How is having sex with a drunk girl considered rape?

This is a real question, and I’m honestly curious about it.

You see, I don’t drink. I’ve never been drunk. I was buzzed one time and that was it. So I don’t understand.

Now I’m not talking passed-out, doesn’t remember her name drunk. Fucking a girl like that is absolutely rape.

But I keep seeing things like “It’s not consent if she’s under the influence.” Well, why not? She chose to drink, and she’s still responsible for the decisions she makes while she’s drunk. If she says yes to sex when she’s drunk, why doesn’t the yes count? I honestly do not understand and would like some help here. If you drive a car drunk, you’re responsible for making the decision and driving the car? If you rob a person while drunk, you’re still responsible for the crime, right? Then why are you not responsible for your own consent when you’re drinking? And if you’re opening your legs when you don’t to because you’re drunk, shouldn’t you stop drinking?

For the record, I’ve only had sex with one drunk girl in my whole life. I used to make out with drunk girls until a bunch of people started threatening to beat me up so I stopped. I didn’t understand then and I don’t understand it now.

The idea that the football player rapists didn’t realize what they were doing is complete and utter bullshit. They were doing it to get back at her for some perceived slight!

You don’t “get back” at someone by sending them fucking flowers. They were clear that what they were doing was hurtful because the intent was to hurt her. One kid tweeted that Rape Me was the song of the night.

So don’t fucking sit there and tell me that these kids didn’t know they were raping her.

Men get raped by women. It happens. Men suffer from body issues. Men push these things down because society tells us that we’re not supposed to talk about it or be affected by it. Stop writing off the male experience as an episode of Mad Men.

If feminists continue to pretend that men are the villains in a children’s cartoon, women will never be equal.

I feel like i’m overlooking a serious aspect of this, because i really can’t see why this is incorrect.

You are overlooking a very serious aspect of this. That very serious aspect is that you’re a fucking moron who should really just clock out of life altogether. That’s not a joke. You really should kill yourself. If you cannot see the difference between a RAPIST and a HOMOSEXUAL then you are literally too stupid to be fucking alive on this planet.

You see, a RAPIST is someone who steals from people. A RAPIST is someone who hurts people. RAPISTS have sex with people against their will. A rapist will break into your house, throw your mother down onto the kitchen floor, and forcibly enter her. I want you to really get that fucking image in your head. Your mother is on the floor. She is crying. She is frightened. No one is coming to help her. A man’s hands grip her throat to the point where she will have bruises on her neck. He is thrusting into her. It’s painful, because she’s not wet. He ejaculates inside of her. She may be pregnant. What happens then? Does your mother have an abortion, or does she carry the child to term and you have a rape baby as a brother and your dad has to raise this despicable human’s offspring.  She may have an STD like herpes or even AIDS now. After its over, she will have problems even hugging you, let alone making love to your father. Their marriage suffers, and probably ends. This happens to your mother. Are your picturing these events? And you know what? It’s not about sex. It’s about power. The rapist didn’t think your mom was hot. He didn’t rape her because of her sexy sexy housedress or whatever the fuck it is she wears. He raped her for power. He raped her because he knew the events would unfold as I’ve told them, and he wanted to be their catalyst. He didn’t want to fuck, he wanted to destroy.

A homosexual is someone who loves members of the same sex. They kiss, they hug, they hold hands. Now you say that they can fight their urges. They could! But why the fuck should they? If one penis loves another penis, who fucking cares?

So if you want to think about in simple terms (which I feel would be best for your poor, feeble mind), rape is about violence, homosexuality is about hugging.

I don’t understand why they say women are punished in other countries by being forced to marry their rapists. That’s not true. The raper is punished by having to marry their rapee. Can you imagine how she would hold that shit over your head for like, ever? You know how women can hold a grudge! AM I RIGHT?!

I’ve been seeing this Donald Glover pop up on my dash all day, and I feel the need to pretend that people care what I think about it.

Community makes light of Abed’s autism. No one cries foul.

I am sick of people doing this sort of thing. You are ALWAYS making fun of someone who had something terrible happen to them. When you make light of racism, you are mocking someone who has been beaten half to death solely based on the color of their skin. When you make fun of someone’s mental health disorder, you are making fun of someone WITH A MENTAL HEALTH DISORDER.

You do not get to pick and choose what is and is not offensive. It is a personal thing. People find different things offensive. Fucking deal with it. If you don’t think its funny, then don’t fucking watch anything Donald Glover does, but don’t sit there and tell me that I should feel terrible for enjoying something because you find it offensive.

There’s a lot of things that are fucked up in this world. The amount of pure evil that exists is horrifying. Most of the time I deal with it using humor. Not everyone appreciates it, and some people find it offensive. I don’t blame them. I used to, but I don’t anymore. I understand now that everyone deals with things differently and expecting everyone to be down with the way I deal with things isn’t ok.

But sometimes, things happen and the humor doesn’t help. Sometimes, things happen that reduce you to tears at the awful and despicable things that human beings do to other human beings.

The worst is how people defend the actions of people who have the devil inside them.

“She was asking for it.”

“What about his legacy?”

God dammit, it makes you not want to live. Fuck that bullshit where people make these stupid index card videos about how they’re going to kill themselves because people call them ugly. Fuck you. How about being raped for years as child by someone who’s job it is to fucking protect you?

Live with a victim. Have the person you care about more than anything wake up every night screaming. Get to know someone who can’t even be hugged without tensing up.

It is our job as PEOPLE to protect each other. To look out for each other. Anyone who doesn’t believe this is no better than those that commit these atrocities. I can’t even imagine knowing someone who raped and thinking they were asking for it, or knowing a child that’s been molested and thinking that the person who violated them should be forgiven because they’re good at their fucking job.

How do these people go on thinking they have a right to space on earth?
